Deborah McColl, MA, MFT has been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California since 1992. She is now a licensed MFT practicing in Woodstock, Georgia.
A graduate of Antioch University's Clinical Psychology program, Deborah moved to the Atlanta area in October 2015. Her areas of expertise are marriage and couples issues (including gay and lesbian), career direction, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, difficulties with aging, coping with cancer and treatment, and healing through the creative process and mindfulness practice.
In addition to being a prominent private-practice psychotherapist in the Los Angeles area, Deborah McColl served as Program Director and Clinical Supervisor for the non-profit counseling center, Positive Directions, in Glendale, California from 1992 - 2006. During that time, she served for three years as the Vice President of the Glendale Area Mental Health Professionals Association.
Prior to returning to University, Deborah McColl had a rewarding career as a touring musician, singer and songwriter.
Deborah's therapeutic approach is to provide support, feedback and tools to effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each individual client or couple.
